Aloha, The first day for school is Tuesday, August 7th. The 1st day student packet will be sent home. If there is more than one child in the family, the oldest child will bring home the packet. Please return the signed forms with that child to school. If you have any questions, please call the office 727-3800.
Aloha, The office is processing bus applications and payment. We are expecting full busses so do not wait until school starts. Meal payments can be made online (see letter below dated 5/7/18). You can find your childʻs student id on his or her report card. Meal payments can be made in person. We accept cash payments only for bus and meal payments made in the office. Office hours are M-F 7:00am to 4:30pm. If you have any questions, please call the office at 727-3800.

Mahalo to teachers, staff members, parents, and students for attending the School Community Council(SCC) Spring Fling last night. SCC members shared a Powerpoint about the schoolʻs Self Study and the accreditation team that will be coming to the school from 4/9-12 to evaluate our Self Study by talking to the different stakeholder groups and observing in the classrooms. Aloha, A parent letter was sent home with information on the 2 upcoming events, the School Community Councilʻs Spring Fling on Wednesday, March 28th and the Bingo for Books on Tuesday, April 10th. 138 art and essays from our students will be on displayed at the Queen Kaʻahumanu Malll this week until March 18th. Teachers worked with their students on entries for the Queen Kaʻahumanuʻs 250th Birthday Coloring/Essay Contest.
February will be a busy month. Starting with Mala Work Day on Saturday 2/3. We need your help. Science Night with Vicki White on Monday 2/5 from 5p-7p and Valentineʻs Night Wednesday 2/7 from 5p-7p. On Wednesday, February 28th, the School Community Council will be having their Spring Fling. They will be presenting the schoolʻs Self Study. The Self Study is an in-depth look at what currently exists and what needs to be improved in relation to student learning and the school’s program. All elementary schools in Hawaii are mandated to be accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC). In April, the school will be visited by an accreditation team. A RSVP form will be sent home during the 2nd week in February.
